Formed in 2002, the Fermoy Youth Band is for students aged 10-16 who have completed their grade 2 instrumental exam up to grade 5. The Youth Band performs regularly at local events in Fermoy and elsewhere in County Cork. They were awarded first place in the Junior Section of the South of Ireland Band Championships in Clonakilty in 2018.
